Privacy policy

Effective 2026-10-20. Applies to the Table Export Chrome extension and this website.

The extension

Single purpose. Table Export reads HTML tables on the page you are looking at and converts them to CSV or clipboard text, when you click its icon. It does nothing else.
Page content stays in your browser. Tables are read and converted locally. The extension does not transmit page content, URLs, titles, form data or any record of the sites you visit. It has no analytics, no crash reporting and no remote code.
Permissions. activeTab and scripting let it read the tab you clicked on, only after the click. clipboardWrite puts the table on your clipboard. storage keeps your license status in Chrome’s extension storage (synced by Chrome if you sign in to Chrome). No host permissions are requested.
License activation (Pro only). When you enter a license key, the extension sends the key and a random install identifier (a UUID it generated, not tied to your device or Google account) to table-export.sl-studio.dev to check the key. The answer is cached for 30 days and re-checked afterwards. That is the only network request the extension makes.
Limited Use. Our use of information received from Google APIs and from the pages you open adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell user data, use it for advertising or let humans read it.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We receive the email address you enter at checkout and the payment status; card details stay with Stripe.
We store the license key, that email address (in clear, so we can match refund and reset requests), the purchase time, and for each activation the random install id with its first and last check time. Up to 5 install ids per key.
We email the key once from hello@mail.sl-studio.dev (sent via Resend). Transactional only; no newsletter.
Deletion: email hello@sl-studio.dev from the purchase address. Refunding a key deactivates it.

Cookie-free page view counts (Vercel Web Analytics): page path, country, device type, no identifiers. Hosting and storage on Vercel and Upstash (US).
If you join the “tell me when it’s live” list we store your email, signup time and country until you unsubscribe (link in every email) or until the launch email has been sent.
Rate limiting on the license check uses a one-way hash of the IP address, kept for two minutes. The raw address is not stored.
